This position maintains SAP Master Data necessary for business transactions and operations, including data relevant for Financial, Materials Management, Plant Maintenance, Vendors, Customers, Production Planning, HR, and Quality Management processes._ 

Interact with ALL business functions (from Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Research & Technology and Manufacturing) and ALL locations (from Brazil to France, from China to United States).

Work with numerous business representatives to insure data requirements are met. Given this positions colocated nature at a specific Manufacturing Plant, manufacturing data represents a large percentage of the responsibility and coordination with local resources from other departments will be required._ Accurate data maintenance is critical as errors or failure to meet business requirements can have severe impacts on the business and the system._ 

As such, it is required for this position to have a good understanding of the business model, SAP workings and master data relations in SAP._ _ 

 

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:_ 

 

Create, Update, or Delete SAP Master Data according to customer demand._ Research, analyze, and correct data inconsistencies. Write or run reports & queries as needed to expose data quality issues.

Ensure SOX regulations and compliance documentations are conducted on schedule._ 

Assist in defining policies and procedures for the organization, nomenclature of data elements, and applying accepted data content standards.

Anticipate, coordinate, and resolve SAP interface errors, by understanding the value mapping between SAP and Legacy Systems.

 

Define the appropriate role-based security, business rules, data interdependencies, and field values pertaining to the setup of items.

Evaluate business processes on an on-going basis to identify problems and devise new solutions that minimize manual inputs, updates and maintenance. Makes sure any process changes and/or business rules follow the governance process.

Manages, maintains, documents and deploys all the approved changes and collaborates with Sustainability Network Communities to develop, retain and share process knowledge in supporting MDO operations._

Required Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT or related field._ - Master Data Management, Business Analysis or Information Systems experience (1-5 years in this position)_ - Knowledge of IT ERP solutions including SAP ECC, BW. Optional: Ariba._ - 

 

Data Quality management experience: builds reports, monitors, identifies and resolves issues._ - Communications experience across all levels of the organization, delivering the right communication type for the target audience._ - Good understanding of the end to end business model and master data design in ERP systems._ - Microsoft Office skills.
