Regulatory Compliance: Evaluate subsurface characteristics for remediation projects, ensuring adherence to local environmental regulations, such as those in New York.
Team Leadership: Conduct performance reviews, lead project team meetings, and manage workloads to ensure efficient project execution.
Documentation and Reporting: Review and approve project-related documents and deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree or higher in geology, environmental science, engineering, or a related scientific field.
Professional Experience: 8β10+ years of relevant experience, including investigation, reporting, remediation, and management of retail petroleum or industrial projects.
Specialized Knowledge: Experience with Underground Storage Tanks (UST & LUST) and familiarity with New York's environmental regulations.
Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage 20β40 environmental projects concurrently, with a proven track record of maintaining client accounts due to high satisfaction.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, analytical, organizational, technical writing, and client service skills.
Certifications: Professional certifications are a plus.
Background Checks: Successful completion of drug/alcohol screening and background checks is required.
