Manufacturing Engineer

Leading manufacturer and worldwide distributor has an immediate need for a Manufacturing Engineer.

Strong project management skills to specify, justify, and manage capital improvement projects. Strong background with Mechatronic-Automation systems. Improving Manufacturing Processes with hands on approach. 

Developing and evaluating manufacturing processes utilizing knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials. 

Assuring product and process quality by designing tooling, fixtures and quality testing apparatus.  Monitoring and improving process efficiency, quality levels, and equipment OEE. Recommending, justifying and managing process improvement initiatives. 

Working in a collaborative, multifunctional environment to implement improvements and launch new products. Participating in Product development discussions to provide insights on manufacturability. Specifying, designing, and installing components for small scale projects or improvements.

Qualifications_  Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of on the job experience Must have 5+ years of experience supporting a manufacturing environment Experience using semiautomatic and automatic machinery and equipment Experience with Robotics, PLCs, HMI, and Pro-E/Creo is preferred MBA preferred_ _ 

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and MBA preferred._

 2. 5+ years of experience supporting a manufacturing environment._ 

3. Experience using semiautomatic and automatic machinery and equipment_ 4. Experience with Robotics, PLCs, HMI, and Pro-E/Creo is preferred._
