Data Engineer --$90\HR

Transform data from a wide range of formats into common schemas for loading into various persistent data layers._ Drive selection and implementation of 3rd party ETL tools and systems._ Develop custom ETL software solutions.

Configure and monitor scheduled ETL Jobs & reports.

Providing Support and Performance tuning to existing ETL Processes_ ETL Tool Administration._ Defining data retention policies._ Work alongside the Product, Design and Engineering team on Data Modeling and Process Flow project.

Perform unit, system and integration testing as well as participating in peer reviews.

Qualifications:-

Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent prior work experience and training.

4+ years of experience as an ETL engineer._ 3+ years of developing software using agile methods.

Experience with two or more of the following DBMS platform: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Red Shift._ Experience with CRMs, Websites via APIs, No SQL DBs, Columnar DBs and Flat files (CSV/XLSX/XLS/XML/JSON)

Experience with ERP system integration. Oracle JDE is a big plus._ Extensive experience with one or more ETL Administration platforms

 (Informatica/Snaplogic/Pentaho/Talend/Stich/Alooma)_ Experience with information security and access control protocols_ Expert SQL, ETL, and data management skills to create and optimize integration (batch and/or real-time) pipelines

Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills. The successful candidate needs to desire to own and find root causes.

Understanding of Lambda Architecture is a plus.

Experience building and operating distributed / large-scale systems.

 Experience being successful in a fast-paced startup environment is a big plus._ Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional groups to accomplish goals.
