At least 84 months experience with Java programming
At least 84 months experience with J2EE technologies.
60 months experience with a large corporate or governmental organization, which includes business knowledge, technical design, development and maintenance.
48 months of IBM DB2 experience working with large databases and experience with XML schemas (definition and automated generation).
48 months of IBM MQ Series experience.
48 months of system analysis and design experience for multi-tiered transactional systems_ 48 months of experience writing technical design specification documents for multifaceted component-based systems.
Description: -State of New York: Tax_ _ NYS e-MPIRE Tax Processing System.
The NYS e-MPIRE Tax Processing System is a large multi-tiered, very complex processing system which is responsible for billions in state revenue. Some of the most complex taxes are processed in this system.
The taxes are below: -
Corporation_ Personal Income_ Sales Tax
The selected candidate will be responsible for all phases of the System Development Life Cycle for a multi-tiered complex processing _ system. The responsibilities will include both new development as well as maintenance tasks. Specific tasks will included:
Analysis of requirements and system design work.
Leading or assisting in presentations of system designs to the users and technical communities._ _ Development of detailed design documents and program specifications._ _ Coding, unit and integration testing of programming assignments.
Writing and tuning SQL
Technical Support of user testing efforts.
Performance tuning of new and existing applications.
Production support tasks including analysis of issue, propose and implement solutions.
Mentoring of less experienced staff would be required.
The candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment where legislative changes must be quickly implemented.
