Machine Design Engineer

The Role:

• -responsible for the design and project management of a company that does custom machinery and equipment
• -will manage design projects from initial conception until completion
• -responsible for 50% conceptual design from scratch (building it out yourself since its custom) and 50% of the design is re-engineering or going off past design prints
• -design with SolidWorks and will have customer interaction, but would have a lot of interaction with manufacturing out on the floor to support changes to the equipment
• -handle bill of materials

Requirements:

-3+ years experience designing machinery, larger equipment or custom equipment

-prefer associate in engineering, but will take bachelors

-3D CAD package
