Test Automation Architect

Test Automation Architect should be a domain technical expert in automating Property & Casualty Insurance Commercial Lines of Business applications, preferably the policy admin systems. 

Responsible for the architecture, design, development and maintenance of enterprise automation framework. 

Serve as a domain expert in defining and rolling out standard automation frameworks and best practices for the various commercial lines insurance applications across the organization. 

Responsible for working with various stakeholders to develop and/or improve the existing frameworks.

Responsibilities:

Develop Test Automation, Agile Implementation Strategy for Software Quality engineering team.

Develop and maintain Test Automation Frameworks using the open sources Selenium, TestNG, Maven etc.

Understand P&C Commercial Lines insurance and agile methodologies.

Conduct PoC on the latest testing technologies and automation tools. Integrate AI, machine learning into automation development, triaging the test failures, predicting the failures.

Take the POC effort into implementation after reviewing with all the stakeholders.

Provide technical expertise of system architecture, drive and recommend optimal testing strategies for various products and applications.

Act as a mentor for Test resources as well as provide training to Test resources on testing strategies, standards, tools and process.

Participate in Automation Testing project planning, tracking, implementing and reporting of automation progress for onshore and offshore resources, map test scenarios with the mindset to increase the depth of the coverage across the application.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years of solid experience with Test Automation and framework design.

Minimum of 3 years of experience leading and successful implementation of framework using open source technologies.

Minimum of 3 years of experience implementing and maintaining a Continuous Integration framework including code promotion based on positive outcome of increasing breadth and depth of coverage and complexity test suites.

Strong hands-on experience with industry leading test tools like Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, VMWare virtualization, Service Virtualization.

Solid knowledge of SQL, XML, Java, Python and other programming/scripting languages.

Understanding of testing web services: SOAP, REST, LDAP,Must be able to handle multiple projects and maintain high level of quality while working under pressure and tight deadlines.
