SalesForce Architect

Required Skills:

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in architecting and implementing Salesforce.com applications. 

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in designing complex solutions on Salesforce.com.

A minimum of six (5) years of hands-on experience in configuring and administering of Salesforce.com platform.

A minimum of five (4) years of experience in migrating data from legacy systems to Salesforce.com platform.

A minimum of four (4) years of experience working with data migration tools in Salesforce.com._ 

A minimum of four (2) years of experience in testing applications built on Salesforce.com platform._ 

Preferred Skills:

A minimum of seven (7) years of experience with architecting, designing and implementing complex Salesforce.com applications in large-scale IT environments._ Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Professional (PMI-ACP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI)_ Solid understanding of IT systems including system design, Object Oriented Design, databases and programming concepts especially HTML, browsers, Javascript, Web Services and AJAX._ Deep understanding of integrations using REST and SOAP in the Salesforce space._ Experience including content management systems, learning management systems and related technologies._ System development experience including on premise and SaaS software packages, custom development and systems integration.

_ Certifications in Salesforce Development, Administration, Service Cloud or Sales Cloud._ Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com AppExchange._ _ Description: Maryland Health Benefit Exchange (MHBE)_ The Maryland Health Benefit Exchange (MHBE) created a website and call center operating under the name Maryland Health Connection (MHC). Through MHC, Maryland residents explore health insurance plans, compare rates, and determine their eligibility for advanced premium tax credits (APTC), cost sharing reductions (CSR) and public assistance programs such as Medicaid and the Maryland Childrens Health Insurance Program (MCHP)._ Responsibilities:_ Serves as technical architect on multiple Salesforce.com projects, responsible for architecting and designing technology solutions for solving business problems._ Architects, designs solutions, data models and interfaces in Salesforce.com_ Develops and implements plans for migrating data and users from legacy systems to Salesforce.com _ Develops object models to meet all business specifications. _ Works with identified stakeholders in gathering all business requirements and prepares Requirements Traceability Matrix._ Provides direction and best practices guidance to the stakeholders on building the Credentialing Database and Learning Management System on Salesforce.com._ Provides direction and best practices guidance to the development team on building the Credentialing Database and Learning Management System on Salesforce.com._ Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Salesforce.com architecture, provides innovative solution approaches, guides coding and database standards, and application integration efforts._ Recommends products and licenses on Salesforce.com platform to build the most cost effective solution._ Provides direction for all system testing efforts including unit testing, functional testing, end-to-end testing, validation testing and user acceptance testing._ Works with developers to define, build consensus around, and implement enterprise system and application architecture to ensure performance, scalability, maintainability, extensibility, and application integration with external systems._ Provides guidance for the implementation of enterprise systems and applications architecture._ Leads technical phases of projects including problem definition, analysis, solution conceptualization, design, development and implementation including authoring related documents such as technical specifications and detailed design documents._ Adhere to all security, change control and MHBE Project Management Office (PMO) policies, processes and methodologies.
