Manager Database Administration

• Min. Education required:
• Bachelors degree required. BS in Health Care IT, Business or Information Technology related field, preferredMin. 
• Experience required:
• 5 years of experience utilizing relational databases
• 5 years of data analysis experience
• 3 years of experience in project management including experience with requirements gathering, systems analysis and quality assurance testing.
• 3 years of previous experience in health care data analysis or reimbursement methods required, preferably within a managed care environment.
• 1 year of experience supervising a functionally diverse team.
• Skills required:
• Knowledge of ICD-9 and /or ICD-10Knowledge and understanding of HCC coding as related to Medicare Advantage
• Broad understanding of Information Technology and how to apply across an organization to resolve business needs
• Experience working with large data sets and a strong interest in data analysis
• Strong working knowledge of relational database principles required along with a proficiency with SQL
• Experienced working with Medicare/Medicare Advantage claims data sets
• The ability to break a complex problem down into its component parts and arrive at the appropriate solution in a timely fashion.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills
• Commitment to data accuracy and integrity
• Manage design, development, implementation and maintenance of data management and data integration. 
• Architects and leads staff in the systematic development and maintenance of data integration processes and data structures used to analyze data. Manages and coordinates all data acquisition and ETL data feeds.
