Enovix lays off roughly one-third of staff
The company laid off 170 workers (33%) at its Fremont, California, factory.The layoff appeared to be part of a company attempt, announced last week, to reduce annual operating costs by $35M before the end of the year, according to the report.The move comes seven months after Enovix (ENVX) laid off 185 engineers and other staff in Fremont.
