Develop, implement and manage a preventative maintenance program ensuring an efficient and safe working environment while managing costs and utilizing the lowest reliable suppliers.
Establish a cycle count system for scheduled repairs which will assist in limiting downtime due to unscheduled repairs while maintaining adequate levels of inventory to insure quick turnaround of repairs and also working with outside contractors to meet or exceed repair guidelines for cost and repair time.
Provide history of repairs and associated costs for scheduled/unscheduled repairs and maintain and or acquire necessary equipment to limit tooling downtime._Provide tooling support for daily production efforts by developing and implementing in press cleaning schedule. _Create and update cleaning process for all tooling. _Perform necessary in press modifications, repairs as required._Manage outside tooling contractors by communicating and establishing performance expectations._
Ensure that all work is quoted for price and time.
Track all repair costs and deliveries to evaluate outside contractors. _Work with engineering to develop new contractor relationships._Work with corporate staff to ensure policies and procedures are written, reviewed, updated, properly filed and communicated.
Highly responsive to daily operations and customer concerns._Revise documented procedures as necessary._Other duties as assigned._

Knowledge/Education Required:_ Associates degree in Engineering or related desired. (Related work experience can be substituted for educational requirement.)
Related Experience Required: _3 to 5 years of experience in the injection mold design and processing, preferably in the plastics industry. _Ability to work with a variety of outside contractors.

Work Conditions:_Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment._Ability to lift up to 75 pounds required_Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots._Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted._Must be flexible and adaptable to a changing environment_Minimal travel required
