1. Provides a primary point of contact for super users and end users.
2. Monitors system data to maintain the integrity of the system.-Performs needed merges and resolves data conflicts.-Monitor interface logs as appropriate-Review error logs to ensure accurate billing-Ensure key patient identification factors are matched in HIS and RIS-Ensures back-ups, redundancy and recovery is available
3. Coordinates regular, periodic discussions with super users at assigned entity(ies) using the system to identify problems and solutions so that the information can be shared among hospitals.
4. Examines all possible courses of action and displays sound logic and reasoning to arrive at an optimum solution.
5. Participates in team discussions and meetings as requested to include but not limited to ITS departmental and entity department meetings. Servesas a sources of communication between entities and ITS.
6. Coordinate with THR, ITS and other clinical departments as needed to insure Clinical Imaging activities are considered and planned for.
Recommends to entity director the need for new hardware, upgrades and other improvements to the service line applications.
7. Collaborates with Entity departments to update policies and procedures related to the use of Clinical Imaging applications in conjunction with theClinical Imaging Manager. Assist Entity department in development of QA programs.8. Coordinates with other THR entities for ongoing support and functionality within their institution.9. Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of interfaces between the systems and integration of other applications.10. Provides technical support and consulting for the Clinical Imaging applications and how it integrates with other systems.11. Serve as a resource for other related projects.12. Coordinates with other system administrators and the Entity department on system configuration changes and modifications. Coordinatesinstallation and removal of hardware and software for CIS applications, coordinates connection of modalities to systems. Manages planning, testingand implementation of upgrades.13. Provides application support to Clinical Engineering during maintenance of Imaging Equipment, as required by regulatory agencies.14. Provides support to ASA I and III as requested to assist in progression of knowledge and support of CIS customers.
