Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities. _ _ _ Under general direction, formulates and defines system scope and objectives. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Prepares detailed technical specifications from which programs will be written. _ _ Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs. _ _ Provides technical leadership on complex projects. _ May act as expert in business applications and/or cross functional areas. Regularly provides guidance and training to less-experienced programmer/analysts.
EDUCATION:- The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Required skill set:Minimum of 1+ years WebSphere Process Server (WPS) and Modeler toolsets required, including a very thorough understanding of BPEL and strong, demonstrated experience with WPS. Will consider WebSphere Integration Developer (WID)exp. _ _ -Understanding of distributed systems and multi-tiered architecture. _ _ -Proficiency with UML and RUP. _ _ -2+ years of experience using Java/J2EE technologies for enterprise integration and application development. In particular, experience with EJB, JDBC, JMS is highly desired. _ _ - 1+ years of experience with the IBM SOA stack: MQ Series, DataPower._ _ -Experience with WAS and WPS on Z/OS, a definite plus. _ _ -Experience with C++, COBOL, Spring 2.5/3.0, Hibernate, AIX, Z/OS and working with large DB2 databases, a major plus._ _ -Experience building pharmacy applications and health insurance core business processes such as: claims adjudication, enrollment, and benefits management desired.-Strong Rational Enterprise suite experience _ _ -Experience with packaged applications such as ERP, CRM and BPM is an advantage.
