Responsible for providing impartial advice, guidance, and recommendations to the entire team on Agile-related matters.Provide all members of the team with expert-level knowledge and training of Agile development methods.
Champion Agile techniques and methods to decision makers in OST and in customer organizations.
Establish and coordinate the schedules, timelines, dependencies, and resource plans for projects.Will continually and effectively identify and manage project risks and issues and will update the Risk Register and Issues Register in a timely fashion.
Interact with program senior management and staff to help define product roadmaps, project schedules, and process improvement.
Support Agile Teams to maintain timely and effective change management processes and procedures.Assist Agile Teams to develop and maintain periodic status reports around ongoing projects.Analyze complex data sets to determine quality and performance analytics (including High Maturity analytics), status, identify trends, and forecast business impact.
Report project performance and health summaries to senior management and the client.Support management of the Balanced Score Card.Interact with multiple project teams and managers to define scope of work to develop and update detailed schedules, cost information and identification of variances from original plan.Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.Analyze critical path and constraints to determine the effect of major and minor changes to project schedules; recommend work-arounds and schedule adjustments to keep project on track.Position Requirements
The Agile Coach shall have, at a minimum, a Masters degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) field.The Agile coach shall have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in Agile development and coaching.
Strong background in Agile development and project management for software-intensive systems.Experience implementing Agile in federal government environments either directly for the government or federal government contractor
Experience managing complex projects in agile and hybrid environments
Proficient and detail-oriented in researching, writing, editing, and proofreadingOutstanding written and spoken communication skills; very strong presentation skillsStrong day-to-day proficiency in managing processes with multiple stakeholdersExperience writing procedures or work instructions and templates/trainingsAble to communicate effectively in a team and customer environmentDemonstrated ability to meet customer-supplied deadlinesExperience using Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPointUS Citizen.
