If you do not know what a merchandiser is let me give you some background; A merchandiser is someone hired to handle anything that can help sell a product. 

This is a pretty easy job.

Must be hardworking and dedicated. Some gigs can last a month. Pay will be discussed at the time of hire. You will be doing things from setting up major name brand stores and name brand companies in stores. First come first serve on jobs so, get it while you can!


Job Description

You will work at the direction of the DG Merchandiser and the crew lead. Travel as a crew to assigned stores working as a member of a 12 person crew. On site for 7 days. Unloading trucks, moving products, reducing products, removing fixtures, adding fixtures. Work is being done WHILE STORE IS OPEN on Saturday and Sunday. Store closes Sunday at 5 PM and reopens Thursday morning 8 AM. Crew must be finished and leave store by 10 AM on Friday. A POD is delivered for storage. The back stocking area likely cannot be used. Before photos of EVERY section is required. AFTER photos of EVERY section is required. Exact start times vary by day. 

12 and 13 hour days! Crew members MUST be experienced strong merchandisers and be able to read planograms and set products to planograms, stand for long periods of time, and lift 30 to 50 pounds unassisted. Must be able to read store plan sheet. Lodging (2-3 per room) and per diem (food allowance) are provided. Crew lead and crew submits a completed call report for the store and the crew lead uploads photos for each assigned store. No return visits and no missed deadlines. Travel as a crew in a provided van and will be on the road for 2 weeks at a time. The schedule is work 2 weeks and off 1 week. Crew members are charged a rideshare fee of $50 weekly.
