JOB TITLE: Technical Project Manager COMPANY NAME AND LOCATION: US HOUSE OF REPRESENATIVES FULL TIME OR CONTRACT: Contract 6-18 months START DATE: Beginning of September 2020 WORK AUTHORIZATION REQUIRED: US CITIZENSHIP OR H1B SALARY RANGE: Open SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday WORK REMOTE OR ONSITE: ONSITE LOCATION: Washington, DC SUMMARY Client is seeking a Project Manager to support Enterprise Architecture and Vendor Management. The focus of the Project Manager will be to assist with project management activities such as providing guidance on necessary project tasks; creating, executing, and revising project work plans as appropriate; monitoring progress and status; and providing status reports and communication as requested. The Project Manager shall assist the support staff and work directly with other consultants from multiple firms working on the various initiatives. Client is establishing a multi-cloud tenancy. In addition to the implementation support activities, several other projects are also underway: enabling robotic process automation, establishing a container platform, and expanding the application rationalization framework.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES: Support the enablement of the multi-cloud tenancy and other IT modernization initiatives; Work closely with Enterprise Architecture staff to manage the upgrade effort; Plan and execute concurrent projects as needed; Work directly with other consultants from multiple firms working on technology projects. MINIMUM/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with Cloud technology and cloud enablement; Ability to support IT project management in a matrixed environment; Experience working in a federal Oracle EPM Cloud (or Hyperion) and Oracle/PeopleSoft Financials environment. Proven experience managing project, budgets, resource and vendors. PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Understanding of Robotic Process Automation software and frameworks; Project Management certification (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP) or other like certification, or equivalent knowledge of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) |
