Perform timely checks to ensure that only quality product is manufactured.
Maintains established cycle settings on assigned machines to ensure production quantity
Responsible for informing the leadership team immediately of any failure to meet established quality standards to ensure corrective action is taken.
Perform all assigned quality tests to measure the quality of the product being made (i.e. weight, length, diameter testing, color testing and straightness of product). This requires frequent fingering and handling of the product to inspect for defects.
Check order to ensure correct product, boxes, and cartons are being used for scheduled job.
Comply with all safety rules, polices, procedures and practices to include performing lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) of production equipment when required.
Diagnose and determine cause for machine malfunctions along with making operator troubleshoot to assigned machines.
Maintain a safe and clean work area at all times.
Fill out labor sheets at end of shift noting production and downtime using the company computer.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Production Lead, Team Supervisor or Department Manager.
