Axiom Solutions Inc. is a multi-contracting trades company based out of Springdale, Arkansas with other locations across North America . We specialize in millwrighting and fabrication work in the food and beverage sector. We are currently seeking a Construction Supervisor.



The projects are within the Food and Beverage industry, therefore, knowledge within these industries is benefit. These projects local as well as in various States and require your management on site. The duration of the projects can range from 3 weeks to 4 months.



Job Purpose: As a key participant in the relationship with the company, other contractors, and clients, the site supervisor is at second management level and has a further role as a coordinating manager and client interface. You will also be responsible for overseeing trades personnel as sub-contractors to complete the projects from start to finish. The site supervisor has the following specific areas of responsibilities:



Duties and Responsibilities:



 Understand the Scope of Work in collaboration with the Estimating group, or Project Management Group



 Recognizing, addressing, and resolving issues/problems between assigned personnel.



 Maintaining work standards and outlining behavioral expectations to ensure that the morale and productivity exceed these standards.



 Ensuring industrial contractors compliance with Customer and Axiom policies and procedures.



 Knowing and understanding the requirements of the OHSA.



 Facilitate mandatory safety toolbox meetings.



 Ensuring completion of initial safety and hazard assessments.



 Translating general work requirements into a prioritized work plan for personnel and sub-contractors.



 Periodically reassess daily goals to meet forecasted production.



 Overseeing the execution of the work, including quality and production, ensuring that the work meets job specifications and follows the plans.



 Hands on training and development of personnel.



 Inspecting and measuring completed work.



 Preparation of daily production records.



 Reporting on work progress.



Qualifications:



 Ability to complete DOT physical and background check.



 Has 3 -5 years of experience as a qualified and competent tradesperson.

 Has a valid and clean driver license.
