Who we need:
 

We are looking for an experienced and passionate IT Systems Administrator to join our crew. As an IT Systems Administrator, you will have overall responsibility for configurations and management of the IT network infrastructure including setting and maintaining an Azure infrastructure. You will be a part of our small but efficient IT team providing enterprise-level support for our IT infrastructure as well as internal users. You will also work with our security team to ensure maximum up-time along with bullet-proof network security. Along the way, you be instrumental in improving internal resources with many opportunities to learn new technologies.

What you do:



Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution

Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, remote systems, malware protection software, and other processes

Monitor system performance and partner with end-users and external technical support personnel to resolve network and server issues

Identify and resolve hardware issues

Modify security permissions for employees, assign passwords, and update employee data on all systems on the network

Maintain network files and applications as directed

Evaluate new technologies as they become available

Backup and restore software from our storage system

Other duties as assigned


As an IT Systems Administrator, you have:

3+ years of network and system administration experience

Experience setting or maintaining Azure infrastructure

Experience monitoring performance and maintaining systems according to established requirements

Experience supporting remote users including managing Active Directory and VPN support

Strong knowledge of systems and networking hardware and software

Strong knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security remediation

Strong knowledge of storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols

Expertise with Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows Server 2008 R2 ¬â€œ 2016

Working knowledge of PCI standards and remediation actions

Experience with security vulnerability scanning software (Nessus)

Experience with SIEM solutions (Splunk)

Familiarity with cloud-based backup solutions (Crashplan, Cloudberry, Veeam)

Familiarity with Linux environments (Ubuntu, CentOS)
